EOA Head Start/Early Head Start accepts applications throughout the year. There must be a completed application on file for a child to be considered for any opening. To submit an application, parents, guardians or pregnant mothers must visit a local Head Start location in Washington County or Central Office.
County (see CENTERS tab). The following items must be provided to initiate an application:
1. Proof of Birth: State certified birth certificate, hospital
souvenir birth certificate, or birth card
2. Up-to-date immunization record
3. TB skin test results if child is over 12 months of age
4. Proof of family's income for the previous 12 months or
previous tax year (income tax return)
